As this year’s host, we are very pleased that the conference (September 9-12, 2024) at the NHR4CES location at Technical University of Darmstadt was well attended and received much positive feedback. More than 200 guests participated in the scientific conference on the first two days. There were several keynote sessions and talks on the topics of computational engineering, materials science and simulation & AI. During a poster session, the participants exchanged views on their research work and the latest advances in our field.
On the 3rd and 4th day, we welcomed around 100 participants to the NHR networking event. This part of the conference was an opportunity for all NHR employees of all centers, NHR Graduate School Fellows, and those involved in NHR working groups/projects to exchange ideas and progress their projects. The networking days were rounded off with a team event for a relaxed exchange and delicious food.
We look forward to the next NHR conference, which will take place at the NHR location in Göttingen in 2025.
